Internal for the Eternal

I love to read, and study the Words of Jesus. He was all knowing, and He didn’t play around. Some of the things that it said are not that easy to detect the true meaning of, until you take the time to listen. We are very fortunate today to have the Bible, and those that came behind us, and their studies to lead us in the right direction. Even with all these things available to use, as tools of learning. We often slight our greatest weapon that we have available to us.
I used that word weapon of purpose, because we are in a war. The stakes are high in this war, because the bounty is our eternal souls!! We were created to live forever, and the choice is up to us where, that we want to spend eternity. The greatest weapon that has been made available to us is Holy Spirit. John 16:13  Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
It has never been the will of Father, that we would perish. Father has done all that He could, to assure victory, in the lives of His Children. He even made the right choice plain in this verse. Deuteronomy30:19  I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
I want to make one thing clear before I move any further along. I do not believe for even one Nano-second, that Jesus, and Holy Spirit was an afterthought. These other two are as much God, as our Father is God. Father did not enter into play these to bail Him out of a bad decision, as some folks think. I will prove to you that this is true with just one verse of scripture.  Genesis 1:26  And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.  The Let Us in that verse should settle that issue!!    John 3:16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Jesus was prophesized by Isaiah in the fifty-third chapter of the book that Isaiah wrote, and then again in the sixty-first chapter. This is only one example that I have chosen to us, because these example were plain, and easy to understand.
When Jesus started His public ministry, at the age of thirty, Jesus walking into the temple, and read this passage from Isaiah, the sixty-first chapter. Luke 4:18-19  The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, :19  To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

What do you think the reaction of the crowd was?  Luke 4:20-21  And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. 21  And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.
I think that Jesus was cool. He was so confident is who He was, and He understood the mission that He was on. The public ministry of Jesus lasted approximately three years, until He gave His life, so that we could have life!! John 10:10  The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.’
Jesus was a real team player. He didn’t do, or say anything, that was not the will of Father. When His earthly mission had been completed, Jesus simply did not just leave. He made the promise to send another help in His place. John 16:7  Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
I have already post John 16:13, which tells us that Holy Spirit will guide us, into all truth.  Guide doesn’t mean that He will be responsible, to drive the truth into our heart, as we are steadily rejecting what He is saying. The word guide means, that He will lead us into all truth. There is a stipulation that goes with leading. Before anybody can lead us anywhere, we have to become willing to follow!!
The Spirit is truly our best friend. He does the things for us, that we are not capable of doing ourselves. Read this scripture found in the book of Ephesians. Ephesians 1:13-14  In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14  Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
I don’t really need to explain what this verse is saying, do I?  This is an act of great mercy, and unbelievable kindness. Father has went far beyond, the call of duty, to express His love toward His Creation. In my little finite mind I can’t imagine that there was anything more, that Father could have done, to have us choose His way, without stepping all over our free will!! Father has the ultimate plan of life, and the only true plan for life. Until we accept the will of Jesus Christ, as our own, we don’t even realize that we are not living. We are walking around like a bunch of zombies, because we are Spiritually dead!!
I know that I have a different way of seeing things.         However, that what they said about Jesus!!       Ain’t God good?
          …..Much Love
