I was watching a video the
other day of Ravi Zacharias, which I thought was really cool. Those that don’t
who Ravi Zacharias is I will describe him for you. The first thing that is
obvious is he is from the country of India. He is sixty-five years old, and he
speaks in the elite collages, such as Cambridge and Oxford colleges, and
churches all over the world. His ministry is out of Atlanta Georgia, and it is
called, Let my people think. One other thing about Mr. Zacharias is his point
of expertise, in theology is apologetics. Apologetics simply means that, he is
in the defense, of the Christian doctrine.
I really like to listen to
him speak, even though, at sometimes his language goes over my head, especially
when he is speaking at the colleges. Please don’t let me scare you off from
listening to him, because he brings a very good message. The other day he was
talking to an atheist, in the audience who had a question. He spent several
minutes talking with him, and then Ravi said that he had been there all day,
and this was his third session, and he really needed to finish his lecture.
Then he walked to the end
of the stage, and shaking the man’s hand said this; Please don’t leave today
without giving us a chance to talk in detail, after the end of this program.
You are the very reason, that I tour the world, speaking about Christ. That
really touched me, because Mr. Zacharias was correct. That man, whom didn’t
believe in God, was the one sheep, which was lost.
Let’s look in the book of
Matthew, where Jesus is telling the story, about this man in the crowd that
day.
Matthew 18:12-13 How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep,
and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and
goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray? 13 And if so be that
he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety
and nine which went not astray.
Don’t you think
that, Jesus was smiling large, as He told this story? The simply reason is that
He wasn’t talking about sheep, but He was comparing us to sheep. Love is the
driving force behind the Shepherd. How
do you know that James? You weren’t
around, when Jesus spoke about this!!
Oh, how correct that you are, but I have met the Shepherd.
John 10:14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of
mine.
I love this next verse,
which should blow this theory of Calvinism, out of the water. The Calvinist believes,
that Father has pre-determined those, that would be Saved, and those that would
not receive Salvation. That means that Father has hand-picked a superior race
to inhabit His Heaven.
Two thoughts come
to mind. The first one is that if Father wanted a superior race to inhabit
Heaven, then why did He waste His time, creating human beings? I don’t know about you, but the way that I
see that suggestion, would cause our Sovereign God to violate His own nature.
If Father did violate His nature, then that would relieve Him of His God
duty. Amen?
Matthew 18:14 Even so it is not the will of your Father which
is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.
The writing in the red ink
is been certified among Christian crossed the world to be the truth!! The great
thing about our Bible, God’s Word is that we don’t have the luxury to pick, and
choose what we want to believe. It is either all truth, or it’s all one big
lie. Jesus is either Lord over all, or He is not lord at all!! I honestly
believe that the worst thing, which ever has happened to Christianity is when
the church split, over, and over, and over again. There used to be only one
denomination, and it was called believers!!
Okay, before I work myself
into a tizzy, I need to head toward wrapping this up. I need to go back to the
verse that was before any of these verses. It says plainly, that Jesus was on a
mission when He came to earth, and exactly what that mission was to do. I feel
the need to interject right here, and right now, that He will return on another
mission to the earth. If you haven’t learned to love Him, on the last one, then
you are surely going to hate His presence, on the next round!! Just a heads up.
Matthew 18:11 For the Son of man is come to save that which
was lost.
Thanks to Holy Spirit,
that offer still is in place today. However, it is a limited time offer and
nobody knows when the offer will expire. You will never get a better offer,
than Jesus has for you. I don’t care what wild scenario, that you can think of,
because it still will not even come close to just one, of the promises, that
has been made to us. Which one?
1Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen,
nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God
hath prepared for them that love him.
Are you ready? Ain’t Jesus Wonderful?
….Much Love
