A Celebration of What?

Tomorrow in this nation we celebrate Independence Day. Back in 1776 we went to war with the country of England, because the nation that is known as The United States of America wanted to be free. We no longer wanted any other country to meddle in the affairs, of our nation. One of the major issues that we wanted to be free from England’s influence was the right, to worship the God of the Bible. I can’t even tell you what England was worshiping at the time, because that was 237 years ago.

We broke free after a long hard war, and we founded our country, based on the word of God. It has not always been easy, and since becoming a country we have been involved in several wars. We currently are yet involved in a war, and being threatened by another country. You would think that by this time that we would be tired of raging war with anybody. The truth is that it will not get any better anytime soon.

As a country, and one of the greatest nations of our time we have turned down a road of certain disaster. We have forgotten the reason that we wanted to be free in the first place. We wanted to worship, and to love, and serve the God of the Holy Bible. That is the only reason that this country has done so well throughout history. We have put God first, and Father has blessed us according to His Word.

I really hate to say these things, but they are the truth. Our country no longer cares what God says or thinks. They are more worried about what Hollywood, or the popular people, thinks about the things of our country. They are more concerned with what the rich think, and those with power. They had rather be seen in the eyes of man, as a friend to them.

They no longer look at God as being a popular person. They no longer look at Father as being rich or powerful. The also no longer look at God as a friend.  When in all reality, Father is the most, in all those categories.  When all the things of the earth fade away, and we don’t know Jesus, then all of our choices have been put to a halt. We will burn in Hell for infinity!!

How do you know these things?  Everything has been written in God’s Word; The Holy Bible.   Oh I don’t believe that!! That is not even true. Men wrote that book. God didn’t even have anything to do with it!!

My friend you have every right either to accept the Word of God, or to deny His Word if you choose to believe that way. The sad fact is whether you believe a thing or not, simply does not change the fact that it is real.

How do you feel about homosexuality? Do you know how any good can come from it? Why do you think that God called it an abomination to Him? Have you ever even taken the time to consider the effects that it would have on a country?

One of the first things that God done after He created the animals, and the birds, and the human beings was to give them a command. He commanded them to be fruitful and multiply. The only way that a homosexual can multiply is through an artificial form, or on purpose through fornication. Let’s not even go here, because it really doesn’t need an explanation. If our Creator called it anything but good, then we should avoid it at all cost. If God says anything, then the best that we can do is believe that He knows something that we don’t.

Right now in this country the Supreme Court is debating on the rights of homosexual marriage. If they pass a law saying that it is legal, and they have all the rights as a heterosexual couple. It will be the same as slapping God in the face, because we are saying that we know better that He does!!

On the same lines, we have covered the soil of the United States of America, with the blood of babies killed through abortion.  I have never even considered this until here recently. I have always let it go through one ear, and out the other side. However, it goes against the Word of God, in several different ways. I heard a preacher downing sexual education in the schools, on the radio the other day. I personally don’t see anything wrong with teaching sexual education in high school. I think that they should teach it from a Biblical point of view.

Do you know that the Holy Bible, used to be a text book, in the American school system? Sometime is the history of the American school system that book was lost in time. First the Bible, and then the prayers of students, before long prayer in school has been outlawed, because it infringed on the rights, of those that didn’t believe.

On this Fourth of July, we celebrate our independence from out Almighty Creator!! We no longer need His influence on how to run our country. We can do just fine without His presence. In fact we no longer need or desire any more use from Him. He is old news, and His ways are Fuddy-Duddy. The best that He can do is stay out of our business, and let us self-destruct on our own!!

The only solution that I can see is found in the second book of Chronicles, and the seventh chapter, and the fourteenth verse,   If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
