I wish that i could say that i found this on my own, but it was shown in my church yesterday. It's from 1965, and it's Paul Harvey"s broadcast on the radio. I did research this event, and as far as I can tell it is a valid fact.
I need to fill in a little background on who Paul Harvey really was for the younger generation that might not know who he was. this is what Wikipedia say's about Paul:
Paul Harvey Aurandt (September 4, 1918 – February 28, 2009),[1] better known as Paul Harvey, was a conservative American radio broadcaster for the ABC Radio Networks.[2] He broadcast News and Comment on weekday mornings and mid-days, and at noon on Saturdays, as well as his famous The Rest of the Story segments. His listening audience was estimated, at its peak, at 24 million people a week.[3] Paul Harvey News was carried on 1,200 radio stations, 400 Armed Forces Network stations and 300 newspapers. His broadcasts and newspaper columns have been reprinted in the Congressional Record more than those of any other commentator.[4]
The most noticeable features of Harvey's folksy delivery were his dramatic pauses and quirky intonations.
This man was not a joke, and apparently he had some great insight to what was going on, and will be going on in our future. When he said this in 1965 most of the things that he said hadn't even started to happen yet. I found this shocking, and hope that you will also.
The video part is not from 1965, but the message was...........
...........Much Love
