The King is Coming!!

I told y’all, that after a serious discussion with Holy Spirit, I cleaned my computer out of all the movies, which didn’t magnify Jesus, and all the worthless games. I really did have a lot to get rid of, but I can see how, it will make, my time more productive, and my relationship fuller.

 

I don’t believe that anyone knows when Jesus is coming back to the earth, because that is what it says in the Word of God.   Mark 13:32-33  But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. 33  Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.

Actually, I have heard for all my life, that the return of Christ is at the door. That has not been but fifty years. I have listened to preachers, and read articles, also for the past one-hundred years, that are saying the same thing. I believe that they have every right to be saying these things, because before Jesus started His ministry, John the Baptist was saying these things.

Matthew 3:1-2  In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, 2  And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Then just a few verses over in the same book, Jesus is saying the same thing. Matthew 4:17  From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

We are in the middle of the age of information now, because of the media, and internet. We have satellites in space that will allow us to see events unfolding in countries, which few of us have ever heard of before. I am a firm believer that those that prepare the news cast are biased, to the pain-fullest production possible. In today’s world great misery boost ratings!!

Signs of the End Time

Luke 21:7-12  And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass? 8  And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them. 9  But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by. 10  Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: 11  And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven. 12  But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake. Luke 21:25-26 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26  Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

I am not going to be the barer of really bad news, because if we are Saved by the blood sacrifice, that Jesus supplied for us on the cross, this is good news. These are just a few signs, that we can see unfolding, in the world that we live in every day. I am not going to point out certain aspects that are happened to fulfill this prophesy, because I could not do this justice. We all know of different events, which have struck really close to our lives.

If we will back up a few chapters, in the book of Luke, we will find something of comfort, that Jesus said. Luke 12:4  And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.   

  Do you ever visualize the expression on the face, of those speaking in the Bible, and their actions?        Do you ever put yourselves, in the places of the characters, in the Bible?    If not then,…..Why not?     Oh, I’m sorry.    I didn’t realize, that you might be busy playing a religious game, of thus sayeth the Lord.

Any religious game is a total waste of time.  How would I know this?     I keep on being guilty of playing them. It is not, that I do this on purpose, but the reason can be found, in the Garden of Eden.

 Genesis 3:1  Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

John 10:10  The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly

Don’t you simply love Jesus?   I find Jesus to be way cool, the way that He walked the earth, and the things, that He said. The way that He loved humans, even those that we plotting to kill Him. Jesus did not have any hate inside of Him, and He proved that point on the cross, by asking the Father to forgive them. (Luke 23:24)

Y’all realize that once again, I have gone all over, and you might have to think a little, to make sense of this. Can I share my greatest fact with you?    It is all about Jesus!!   Everything is all about Jesus!!     The truth is that I can bumble, and fumble, and mess all my words up, but if I somehow can magnify the name of Jesus, then I am successful.     Ain’t God Awesome?
