Deductive Reasoning

I was just sitting here thinking, that I should write something. I wasn’t talking about the normal stuff, which I write about. Just something different, kind of like, I have written in the past. I thought maybe I would write about something humorous, or maybe about something serious. I didn’t even mean that I wanted to post what I wrote. I just thought that I need to stretch, my normal boundaries.

I thought about it for a few minutes, and then started to use deductive reasoning, concerning what I should write about. What is of main interest to me?   Jesus.   OK.      What do I really care about?    Jesus.  Well,…OK.    James there must be something else that you care about.    Oh,…there is another thing that I really care about.    Good, now we are getting somewhere.     What is it?     Doing the will of the Lord.     OK,…I get it!!     You might as well write what you normally write about!!

Actually, there is nothing normal about the God that I write about. I really don’t think that I could write about any subject that is more different, than everything else. Father has a humorous side to Him, and there in nothing more serious than He is, I really considered writing about something other than, but I really do not care to change format, for even one post!!

I agree with the Apostle Paul when he says this: Phillipians 3:8  Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, I am not saying that I am holier than thou, because I don’t see myself in that manner. 

The truth of the real way that I see myself most of the time is completely inferior. Completely inferior to Jesus, and highly inferior to most human beings. The saving grace to this is the fact, that I believe that I have found my calling from the Lord. I can’t even start to tell you, why Jesus has chosen me to write this blog. I don’t write that well, and nothing about me say’s that I am a writer.

The great thing is that I have a great subject to write about. I really feel that Jesus is the most interesting subject that there ever was, and will ever be!! He truly is the International man of mystery, and to know Him, is to love Him. I can’t understand why people can’t realize, what we are dealing with in Jesus, because everything about Him points to love. The truth is that we all desire love. We desire to be loved, and to love others. Jesus fits right in us with complete perfection. 1John 4:19  We love him, because he first loved us.

The truth is that Jesus made all the first moves. He is the star of the land called Heaven. in the book of Revelation, Jesus says this about Himself. Revelation 22:16  I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

Jesus has done everything to satisfy the demands, of the Father, to redeem us back to Him.  Romans 5:8  But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Is this cool or what?     Somebody actually died in my place, that I might have life!!    Honestly, has anybody ever gave their life in your place, so that you could live on?    Jesus gave His life for us that we could live eternally!!            AWESOME!!

While Jesus was walking the earth the disciples marveled about the power that Jesus showed, as He calmed the storm.Luke 8:25  And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him.

It wasn’t until Jesus was resurrected from death, that some of the disciples finally believed that He was truly the Messiah. John 20:29  Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. 

This is why I write this blog. I want to lead everyone that doesn’t believe in Jesus in His direction. I count it a privilege to write this blog. I have found the will of the Lord in my life today, and I am so over-joyed to do this, in the name of Jesus. If I would have had to guess, what the Lord would have me do in His service. I don’t even think that writing would have even crossed my mind.

Ain’t God Good?                  Deuteronomy 6:5  And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

Department of Defense

Mornin’!!   That’s the language that I grew up speaking in North Alabama. I am proud of my Southern heritage. I am not proud of everything thing, that was ever done in the south. I can’t believe that a true follower of Jesus could ever be proud, of all that madness that was going on, at one time, or the other.

I am talking about the way, that we as human being treat those that are different from us. It was true in the Southern United States, it was true in the Northern United States, it was true in various parts of the world, and it is still true today. It was even true while Jesus was present on the earth.

The Words of Jesus are life and peace. Paul captured that thought in the book of Romans, the eighth chapter, and the sixth verse. Romans 8:6  For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. This verse should scream volumes at us!!

It is as clear as when Father spoke to us, and He was talking to His Israelite children in the book of Deuteronomy.  Deuteronomy 30:19-20  I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: 20  That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

You might be thinking right now if you don’t already have a relationship with Father.             Why should I even pay any attention, to the Words of a person, which I have never seen?    Those of us that do have a current working relationship with Jesus have need to hear these words also. Isaiah 55:9  For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

It is really good for all of us, when we get up in the mornings, and put on our big boy or big girl pants, to remember this verse. I just had a thought. It is truly a thought of comfort, to the followers of Christ, to realize, that we are not in charge!!

I have to laugh at our current President of the United States. He made the statement that the Sermon on the Mount was so radical, that our Department of Defense could not survive the application!! I am not laughing at the fact that he is blaspheming our Lord, because that is what he is doing. I am laughing about having the joy of the Lord inside of me!! 

Jesus is the most radical Lord of lords, and King of kings!!  He is the only one that should matter to us, because He is the only One can make a difference!! The reason that Jesus is so radical is the fact that we are totally self-centered, because of our sin nature. Check this highly radical verse out. 

 Matthew 5:44  But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; 

 

Can you imagine anything more radical than this?  Our natural reaction would be to curse them back, and then lay hands on them!! I am not talking about in prayer either!! However, this is truly a great way to live our lives, and it causes us to live even longer. If we can just do this scripture daily it will keep us healthy, and pour hot coals on the heads of our enemies.  Proverbs 25:21-22  If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink: 22  For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the LORD shall reward thee.

The Lord shall reward thee. That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Are you getting the picture that is not about us? It is not about us, and our petty wants in this life. It never has been, because we were created for a different purpose. We were created to have a relationship with Father. That is the only reason that we are even here, and failure to comply has serious consequences. If well don’t make the right choice it will be Hell to pay, for all eternity.

God wouldn’t put in in Hell!!  That is right. God will not put you or me in Hell. We put ourselves in the pits of Hell!! I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

Why else would Father call Heaven and earth to record this day against us?  The choice that we make in our lives every day is on record. Paul summed it up in this verse, and this I leave with you today.

Romans 6:23  For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Cover My Commitment

Is anybody out there going through the reading, of the first chapter of Psalms, for twenty-one day’s?  I messed up and didn’t write the date down, when I started doing this reading. I think if I continue until the beginning of the third week in November that should cover my commitment. Twenty-one days is where the guarantee, to have more power, in my relationship with God comes into effect.

 

I really don’t think that if we go beyond those days, that a reverse effect will come into play. I am not sure what would really take place, but knowing Jesus, well………..Proverbs 10:22  The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.                 Don’t you just love the Word of God?    There is a verse for every situation found in God’s Word.

Psalms chapter one is a three step ways to achieve true happiness, in our lives, and they are contained in the first three verses. Verse one tells nothing except what a person shouldn’t do to be blessed. The amazing thing to me is the fact that it only bring out three points. Although, these three point could branch out into enough information, to write the entire Bible to cover it.       Oops!!      Too late!! 

Psalms 1:1  Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

The first thing that it says not to do is to walk, in the council of the ungodly. All my life growing up I have heard my elders talking about the ungodly things that were happening. I just thought that something was wrong with them, and the biggest thing was fear of change. I simply figured that they were resisting the changes taking place, in our society, at that time.

One of my greatest fears a while back was the fact that I was becoming like them. I live in a society today, which are continuously spitting in the face of God!! We kill babies on demand, and call it a legal abortion. Well,…..Did God change His mind? Exodus 20:13  Thou shalt not kill.  I did read the verses around this one, and He didn’t mention any special stipulations. 

The homosexuals are demanding that they be given the right to marry each other. Truthfully, being a homosexual is going against the Word of God, on several different levels. Now as bad as that is, the President of the United States is backing their movement. 

Honestly, in my personal opinion, the ungodly are making all the laws, in America today. I can’t say that there are no Saved people making these laws, which we will be living by. However, I know if there are any that they are severely out numbers!!

I don’t believe, that God is calling for us to have, an all-out rebellion in this verse. I do believe that He is telling us, that this should not be the place, which we are to seek our wisdom.   Will anybody care to agree with what I just said?      Moving on…..

The next two parts I would like to combine together, for a couple different reasons. The first one being the amount of space to write, about these issues. Not that I can’t take as much as I need to take. It just the fact, that I don’t want any of the readers, to lose attention, before I get finished. The second reason is simply, that one idea compliments the other idea well.

I believe that it hurts, if not kills our Christian testimony, if we stand in the way of sinners. Nobody really cares for somebody else nagging us, about the lifestyle that we are choosing to live. Often times we know that we are not living right, when we are living in our sin. I believe that our job as true believers of Jesus is to live be example. Matthew 5:16  Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Sin has its consequences before the point of death in most of our lives. If we don’t feel the pain of these consequences we will never come to know true repentance. Pain is the great motivator in our lives, and I can’t think of anything more painful, that the next ingredient. Holy Spirit is the master of revealing pain, while showing our sin to us!!

Every person that was ever born, other that Jesus, was born with a defect. The proper terminology is a sin nature, and if this sin nature is not dealt with, before we pass on through, it will be Hell to pay. There are not but two choices, and Father told us what to choose. Deuteronomy 30:19  I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: That is blatant, but lots of folks still don’t get it.

I really need to get to moving here, before I run out of space. The reason that we should not sit in the seat of the scornful is simple. It kills our testimony of the true love, which changed our lives dead!! Sinners or folks in general, remember the hurtful ways that they are treated. We all do. The ones that try to say that they don’t pay any attention to these things are the ones that are affected the most. 

I am working seriously hard are not sitting in that seat. Hurt people hurt others, and I am guilty. I would like to at times think that I am better than others. Deep inside of my heart I know that I am no better than anybody else. When it comes down to realizing the shape that I was in, and still how close that I still am to that shape, I don’t know why Jesus even bothered with me. However, I am sure glad that He did!!

Actually, we are all in the same situation. We are all sinners. We all need a Savior. Jesus is that Savior, and only does Jesus qualify for that position!! John 15:12  This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

Do you think that Jesus was joking when He said this?      Me neither!!    It is hard to love a lot of people, and I used to be one of them!!        Ain’t God good?

A Superior Goal to Reach

This has been a great week of personal gain for me. No I didn’t win the lottery, or have some wealthy relative die, and leave me a bundle. I never even play the lotto anymore, and I don’t think that I have a relative left, which will leave me anything. I didn’t even find something of monetary value, and nobody blessed me for a good deed done.

Some things are much more valuable to me these days. I know that I bumble, and quite often fumble. Sometimes I am lead astray by the evil one. I still often sin, and I still do wrong, and sometimes, much wrong. Even with all this madness going on in my life at times, I still have one thing constant. My heart and life is in the hands of Jesus!!    Can anybody relate?

    

I am at the age that I don’t have anything else to prove. I am not worried about where that I live, and what I have to wear. I am not worried about where my next meal will come from or even what that it consists of. I know that the Lord has my back, and that all that I need to know.

While I was in that mission program I decided, that I was tired of doing this the way, which man expected me to live. I was getting older, and back is wrecked, and it causes me great pain when I work. Now, I worked really hard at times in the mission, but I was working for Father. Working for Father is a completely different kind of work.

My old blog changed while I was at the mission. I started writing about Jesus, and His love for people like all of us!! It was getting close to the time to leave, or find a job. I talked with Jesus, and He said nothing more than to trust Him. I have taken Jesus at His Word, and I have nothing lacking from my life.

I put my Lord to His Word. Phillipians 4:19  But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. I am amazed by this action. Even with all the things that I fail at, and all the sins that I commit, I am still blessed greatly!!   How does this work?     Truthfully, the only way that I know that it works is the fact, that God say’s it in His Word!!   I definitely have done nothing to deserve this other, than to love God.

If I have anything to do with God’s goodness toward me, it must be the fact that I try to pattern my life, and King David. I do realize that Jesus is the standard that Christians should compare ourselves with. I do that, and I always come up short. The truth is that I will always come up short here on this earth, and maybe for all eternity. I simple don’t know, and it really doesn’t matter to me. I love having a superior goal to reach for!!

The reason that I pattern after David is pretty simple. Acts 13:22  And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will. I want to know how David became a man after the heart of God.

Wouldn’t that be a goal that we all could live with?     You might just think that I am crazy, and maybe you would be right. I know that something is going right in my life, and I praise my God for it!!   You know,……I can’t even proclaim that I am doing anything right in my life. I will be bold enough to say that Father is surely blessing my efforts!!

Please check out this verse of scripture. Matthew 6:20-21  But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21  For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. My treasure is in Heaven, and it is located in Jesus Christ.

Nothing is important in this old corrupt world anymore other that Jesus Christ, and His righteousness. My main goal every day of my life now is to do the will of God. 

The truth is that often times I make such a mess. However, this verse says that we should. Matthew 6:33  But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

With all that being said by Jesus personally, it should be enough to at least make all of us think. If this is true, then why don’t more people simply let go, and trust what that Jesus is saying?   I know that it does take a lot of faith, to turn the reigns of our lives, over to somebody else. It takes a serious amount of trust also.

  

I am not saying anything bad about any of the readers. I realize that we are all different, and have our different issues to contend with, in our daily lives.  Simply think about these things. Paul and Peter wrote two separate verses about Jesus, which I leave with you today. 

 Hebrews 13:8  Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

 Acts 10:34  Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:
