Government Shutdown?

I hope all my readers will join in with the American Christians, in prayer for our nation. We are in serious trouble right now. Actually, this just didn’t start. It has been building up for a few years. The United States is going through a Government shutdown. The simplest way that I can explain what that means is this way.

There are two sides to the way that our Government is run. Think of it as being two-faced. They forget that they were voted into office, to act in the way, that the Americans tell them to act. When they allow their personal pride to get into the way, of how they act, it causes problems. Proverbs 16:18  Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.

You know that I am not a Government analyst. I am just a man that has lived in this country all of my life. What I think should be a simple solution to handle is over the heads of all those involved. There is a saying, which goes like this; all that I need to know how to treat people, I was taught in kindergarten. However, I think that it runs deeper than this. I don’t think that many of our great leaders have been Saved!!

Apparently, the biggest problem child that we have in Washington today, sit in the seat of the President. He is in the process of pointing fingers, and calling names, because he is not willing to negotiate. There is not a man in the Government with a more prideful spirit than our President. I can understand why. If I were the first Muslim to be the President, of the greatest free nation in the world, I would be prideful also. Saying that seems like it would be an oxymoron!!

I think that it is time to see, what Jesus had to say about, what is going on in our country today.  What’s that?    You didn’t think that Jesus had to say anything about our country?    The truth is that He did, and there is not anything good about it either. Let’s take a look, and see how bad that it really is.

Matthew 12:25  And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:

Well, it ain’t looking real good is it?  I personally think, that this is just another sign that the end is near. There are all kinds of signs happening everyday weather wise, and in the skies. Earthquakes happening in places, which they have never before happened. Water spouts, and tornadoes ripping through the countries, and let’s not forget about the massive flooding worldwide.

Everything is surely coming together for the return of Jesus Christ. We have an American President blaspheming God, every chance that he gets. He also promotes homosexuality. I know that there will be folks that committed the sin of homosexuality in Heaven. However, I also know that they repented of that sin, and moved on. That is why Jesus came the first time. This second time He will come in power. Nobody will lay a hand on Jesus to harm Him. He is not going to be gentle this time, because He is not here to forgive sinners. This time He is here to judge those that refused the offer to have a relationship with Him!! He will not be offering to teach anybody, about anything other than giving Him the respect that He deserves to be shown!!

I have to share these verses with you about the second coming of Jesus!! Revelation 19:11-16 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.  12  His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. :13  And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. :14  And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 15  And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16  And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

That is a far cry from the first time in which He came!!  The first time Jesus was a baby born, in the humblest of settings. He grew up, and for thirty years He made no waves, and was not even well known, until He started His public ministry. Jesus rocked the world with the things that He said. The Pharisees had no love for Him, because He threatened their way of life.
For over two-thousand years, we have been awaiting, the arrival of our Savior again. That will be a day like no other day, but there will be some hard days before it arrives!! We can only agree with John in this verse:

Revelation 22:20  He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.   Ain’t God good?

                ….Much Love
