1John 4:16  And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. I really could just post this right now, and walk away for the day. However, I am going to make a crucial point, and this is a great verse to make that point.

How many of you have heard, of the Westboro Baptist Church, in Topeka Kansas?  If you haven’t heard about them, you must live in another country. All you need to do is type their name in your search engine, and what I am saying to you will be confirmed. I do list them as false prophets, because they are in the same category as Joel Osteen. This is the church's home page. Yeah,...it makes me scratch another bald spot on my head!!

They are spreading a false gospel. I am not sure if they are teaching any gospel, because their message of hate overrides any other message. They seem to want to promote themselves, rather than Jesus. They have taken the Word of God, and twisted it around, to made it say, what they want it to say.

I guess that their claim to fame would be the fact they choose to picket events. They are show up anywhere that that choose to, and wave around different signs. The signs that they wave always stated that God Hates----.          God hates fags.         God hates America.          God hates the world.      Thank God for breast cancer.          God hates…you can fill in the blank with what it is that you hate, but you might want to erase the first word!!

I really don’t want to concentrate too much on the, so called church. The way I see it they are just like the Pharisee in the story that Jesus was telling, starting in Luke 18:10. I must tell you the way that Jesus said that it would end. Luke 18:14  I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

Don’t we love and serve a good God?       We can tell by that first verse, which is on the top of this page, that God is love. I searched the Bible closely, for something that God hates. Do you know what?             I found seven things that God hates, and all of it sin.    Nowhere in the Bible does it say, that God hates anything other than sin!!

God hates the homosexual lifestyle of the men, and women who live this way. The reason being that, He told them not to be doing those things that they are doing. It is sin to be disobedient to God. Father went as far to say, that this sin was an abomination to Him. Although, there is a big difference in hating the sin, and the one that is committing the sin. Truthfully, God loves the homosexuals, and He will continue to love them all the way to hell!! They too are His creation, and deserve the chance to repent.

God doesn’t hate any person on this earth. Just because a person is in the military. Doing the best that they can to serve their country, does not mean that God hates them. Do you know realize, that there will be those, which are guilty of committing murder in Heaven? What about Moses, and David, and all of those who have committed character assignation, with the double bladed tongue like me? That is something to think about!!

The term that God hates America is a fairly broad term. Does He hate the land that He created, or just the people, on the land, that He created also? I know that God should be about fed up, with the sin in America. All the blood of the babies, aborted on the American soil, which are crying out to God. The homosexuals are trying to take over this country. All the false prophets, behind the pulpits in America, teaching a false doctrine.  All the murders, taking place from sea, to shining sea, for the sake of greed.

Should I go on, or will that be sufficient for now?     Now, you would think, if God was going to hate anything, which it would be the people, that live in America!!        However,.....Scroll back to the first verse, and you will see, that God is love.       God is love.       God is love…

I think that the solution for the Westboro Baptist Church is found in the book of Matthew. Matthew 5:44  But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That really sounds like good advice. It is coming from a man that I truly admire, and trust with my soul. If you have a problem with hate, then your solution is with Jesus. When you bow down tonight, tell it to Him. Confess that you are missing the mark, in the hate department. He already knows, and is simply waiting on you to ask for help.

Before I turn in for the evening, I need to say one more thing. Our country has fallen, into the hands, of the one that hate God. He has invaded every part of our legislative Government. All the way from the White House, to the outhouse!! It is terrible, the way that the citizens, of this Nation act before God. Our only hope is through prayer. Won’t you join me?

2Chronicles 7:14  If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

A really good flogging....

I must admit, that I don’t have much trouble happen, in my daily life. The problem with that is, (There is always a problem.) my past way of living makes me paranoid. I am always expecting something, to pop up suddenly, and totally wreck my lifestyle.      Can I get a witness?     Can anybody relate at all with what I am saying?    Now, please don’t take me wrong. I don’t walk around worried, that some dark cloud, of gloom and doom will suddenly drop buckets, of misery on me. However, there is a presence, of the evil one still working in my life!!

I have found a solution for this problem, and I use it quite often. There is a verse in the book of Proverbs 3:6, that says, “In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.” This Word states that we should involve Jesus, in all of our affairs. He knows what is going on to begin with. Being the gentleman that He is, He will not get involved, without an invitation.

I want to tell you how I handle this attack by Satan, because that is exactly what it is. “Jesus!! Did you hear that? Satan is telling lies on you again!!He is telling me that my blessing is fixing to be interrupted, and something bad is going to happen. Do you want to take care of him, or should I bind him in Your name?”

By the time, that I say these things, he has fled, and the fiery darts have ceased. Satan doesn’t like to be exposed. He definitely doesn’t like it, when I call on the name of Jesus. I give Satan way too much credit, and I am placing myself in a higher position than I am really in. Satan is dealing with far more important issues that me. He is worried about corrupting world leaders. Any time that I use the name of Satan I am simply talking about some little, not really powerful demon.

These demons are doing the work of Satan. They are like flies. Have you ever had a fly in your home around meal time? The just buzz around aggravating everybody at the table. You can swat at them, and they will just back away, and come right back. The only way that I have found to solve a problem, with a fly is to use brutal force. The fly must die!! Once the fly is dead it can no longer bother you. There is a war going on for your soul!!

I need to get to where I want to be in today’s post. The reason that I have no, or little problems in my life today, is because of the blessing of God. David wrote the scripture that applies over my life today, in the twenty-third Psalms. Psalms 23:6  Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

The word follow, does not mean that goodness, and mercy will always be a few feet behind you. I want you to read, what the Strong’s, has to say about the application of the word, in this verse. A primitive root; to run after (usually with hostile intent; figuratively (of time) gone by): - chase, put to flight, follow (after, on), hunt, (be under) persecute (-ion, -or), pursue (-r).

Are you surprised, or shocked, or just in totally disbelief?      This is how good that Jesus is!!    Surely, Goodness, and Mercy shall run me down, and tackle me, put me in a submissive hold, and simply cover, and smother me, with all the attributes there in!!

Ok…The country boy is fixin’ to come out of me.     Have you ever been walking among, a bunch of chickens, especially when you were a kid? There is always at least one disgruntle chicken, usually a rooster, that has a desire for your neck. All of a sudden, without any warning, that bird will be all over you!! Its wings will be flapping wildly, stirring up a stink against your body, and the spurs on their legs hammering, away on you!! It can be a traumatic experience when you are a little child. It is something that you never forget!!

We always called that special event a floggin’. There is nothing quite like, when an old chicken gives you, a really good flogging. That flogging is on the same line, as the word follow, in that verse of scripture. I don’t know about you, but I need an aggressive blessing perusing me, in my life today!!

Let’s take one more look at that verse.        Ain’t it beautiful?            Surely…Goodness, and Mercy shall “Follow” me all the days of my life. What a blessing that is!! However, I am not satisfied with that. Are you? I want more, and I always want more, and fortunately there is more!!

The second part of this verse is where the real blessing lays. “I WILL DWELL IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD FOREVER!!” There is where the real blessing is located. The first part is simply icing on the cake!!

I can honestly say that I have been visited by the Lord personally, a couple times. It was the scariest event, that I have loved, in my life!! The presence of the living God is awesomely, mind blowing, and Spiritually uplifting, as I have ever experienced. I love to be in the presence of the Lord!! I can’t wait until I can bask in His glory forever!! I can’t say this as a fact, but I assume, that His presence is more awesome, than anyone has ever experienced, on the earth. Maybe Adam had the full experience, but I don’t know.

I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever!!         That gets me all wound up…

Propaganda?

I have been looking at a lot of things, which concern the end of time, or the last days. The truth is that, there is so much information out there, that it can be pretty over-whelming. I know that the ultimate guide, when studying these issues, is the Bible. Honestly, I am not a Bible scholar. I never went to seminary, or any college to study the Bible. There are times, which it does leave me at a disadvantage, when I am writing. Those are the times, that I am letting my flesh, get the best of me.

I must admit that I like to write the story, which makes me feel, as I have accomplished something. I am not trying to fool anybody, into thinking that I am a scholar. I just wasn’t to be well informed, about the post that I publish each day. In my experience as the writer of this blog, I have come to realize a few things.

The first thing is, there is a lot of propaganda on the internet. Everything that we find on the web is not necessarily truth. A lot of subjects can be proven, by both schools of thought, to be the truth.

Maybe it is the fact that I grow weary in my quest, and walk away. Let’s take for instance this subject. I typed into my search engine this question.  “Is the United States the Babylon in the Bible?” I thought that was a fair question, and just assumed, there would be only one answer. Now out of roughly, one half a million opportunities, that I had in which to choose the answer, that I thought was best, I stayed on the first page.

Out of the first ten, seven of the answers were no, and the other three were yes. Each one said that they could prove that their answer was the right one. The bad part is that I have spent a lot of time, watching videos depicting, that the United State is the Babylon of the Bible. Honestly, the lifestyle that Americans live is close enough to make a person wonder.

There comes a time in each one of our lives, which we will have to decide, the answer to the question that Pilate asked. (John 18:38)  What is truth? The truth is a hard item to find in most places. In the courtroom when giving testimony, we are to swear to tell the truth. Even though, we place our hand, on the Bible and swear to tell the truth, often times, it is not hard to tell, when a person is lying.

Is the truth what we are doing, while we are telling, little white lies? If those are white, then what color are the rest of them? Back in my day, I could tell you a whole rainbow of lies!!      Moving on….

I love Jesus!! He was a very radical person. There was a statement that He made, that was severe, cutting edge stuff!! John 14:6  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Is that radical or what? Can you imagine a person making a statement like that? Jesus showed up on the scene, proclaiming to be the Son of God, and making a statement like that. I can tell you right now, there was a reason that I was not around, while Jesus was walking on the earth. I would have been an excellent Pharisee, and nothing would slide by me!!

Two thousand and thirteen years after the fact, I am good with it!! Do you want to know how good, that I am? I have put all my eggs in one basket. I have pushed, all my chips, into the middle of the table. I have hopped off the fence, and I have placed my very soul, into the hands of Jesus. I am sold out!!

I believe every word that Jesus says. I accept Him as the only way, for my life. I accept Jesus as the only, solid, truth, which I will never find to be, in a compromising situation. Since I’ve known Him, for a couple days in my life, He is life, and life more abundant!! I truly understand what He meant, by saying those words.

Do you understand what it really means to fully take this word from Jesus? There are a lot of things in the world today, which are being disguised as fun. It does have an edge, or hint of fun at it, but it is nothing but white wash. The first time that it gets wet, it starts to show the true color that was hidden underneath.

I believe that one verse is a map to our Salvation. We were all born with something inside of us missing. It is not a defect, but a choice mechanism. There is something missing, and we have the choice of filling it with what is missing. We often try to fill it with all kinds of things that just don’t work.

Jesus tells us that He is the way. We have a lot of different choices, of the way that we are going to go. What makes Jesus the right choice? Where is His way going to lead us?

Jesus is the only choice that will fit into this missing area within us. He is the perfect fit. If we try to stuff anything else inside of us, it creates pain. The second question is a great question!! Jesus is leading us back to the Father, Our Creator!! We have been lost, or separated from Father by sin. Jesus has a solution. Don’t you love a plan when it comes together?

Jesus is truth. Every Word of Jesus is truth. Jesus can’t lie, because there is no deception to be found in Him. If we trust Him, as the only way. We should have little trouble trusting Him as the truth, but we often do. We are like Peter. We take our eyes off of Jesus, and immediately start sinking!! However, Jesus is always there with His hands stretched towards you, beckoning you to grab ahold.

It is funny how we perceive the notion at we are alive, when we really didn’t have anything to compare with. Once you accept Jesus. I guess that I need to make this very personal. Once I really accepted Jesus, as the way, and the truth, only then did I receive life. I am always seeing how, that I was totally dead without Him. Paul was very accurate when he said that we were dead in our sin. Romans 8:10  And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. I did not even have a clue what life was about, or how good that it can be.

A momentary lapse

I never cease to be amazed by the way that Jesus moves. He walked around for three years, and healed all those that were willing to let Him. The Word of God that I own, places Jesus, as the star player, in a world, that never had to be. Father could have created a world, where everything would have gone His way, and that is what He did. That is really mind blowing to me.

I don’t know how far the throne of Father and Jesus is located, from this planet. The problem with estimating the distance, is my lack of understanding, the Spiritual realm. The Spiritual realm may be as close, as our next breath, and it might be past, what we can see in outer space. I am going to use the example, of being further, than we can see in outer space.

There are a couple reasons that I chose this option. The first one being, that all folks don’t think the same way that I do.  (Mark 9:23  Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.) The second reason is that this option is something, which we can all relate with. We all know, and realize the vast distances that we can view in space today. I am sure that nobody would have a problem agreeing, that it is a very long way, from the earth.

The part that I really find amazing is the fact, that God placed this planet out, in the middle of nowhere, or so it seems. Even still, He has not left us alone, or abandoned us. He knows every detail about us, and is highly interested, in our daily activities!!           Don’t you think that is totally awesome?

Maybe it was the way that I was raised, and that was pretty much normal. I remember having stories read to me, and reading stories, in grammar school. In my younger days, I tended to like the fairy tales. The ones with the kings, and prince’s, and the queen’s, princess’s, and the valiant knight, who always slayed the dragon. The Bible seems like it has been based, on the fairy tale line, but the opposite, is probably the truth.

I know today that the Bible is true, even as far flexed, as some of the stories seem to be. I am not talking about the stories of a talking donkey, or a floating axe heads. I am not even talking about humans, walking on the water, or the dead coming back to life. What I am talking about is the audacity, of humans to deny their Creator!!

The book of Revelation is one, mind boggling, well authored, piece of prophecy. It amazes me how accurate it has been so far. These folks are selling out to Satan right, and left in these days. Hollywood has been corrupted, and the music industry is corrupted. Our Government is totally corrupted, and has been all of my life. The church has more demonic activity inside of it, than in the local bar on Friday nights!!

I understand the part that Satan is playing, because is hell bound with no reprieve. The fact that real, living, breathing, human beings are buying Satan’s lie, is beyond my comprehension. The horror of the damaging is that it is happening to folks, which grew up in the church. They may have never accepted Jesus, but I dare to say, that they have sat under the teaching, of the book of Revelation.

I am thinking, that is takes some form of powerful deception, to actually pledge, your allegiance to Satan!! To go in front of a camera and state that you sold your soul to Satan, in front of the entire world is so foolish. I think that it might not be meant for me to understand some things. I know that I can’t even start to understand how this can be.

I can see if you grew up in a home where you were never taught about God. How would you explain the reason behind Christmas? Christmas just ain’t Christmas, without the story, of the birth of Jesus. What other reason could there be? Honestly, if I didn’t believe in Jesus, I couldn’t see any reason to go out, and spend money on others.       Could you?

However, because of Jesus was willing to sacrifice His blood, and life to pay the ransom for us. The penalty of sin demanded death, and it wouldn’t have done any good for any of us to die. We were born in sin, and were condemned from the start.  But God,……Don’t you just love when you find that written in the Word?

How about,… For God? John 3:16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Father loves us so much, that He had already, made a way of escape, for our sin condition, through Jesus. Do you ever get the feeling that Father keeps bailing us out of trouble?

1Corinthians  10:13  There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

A Slightly Twisted Different Form

Hello to my readers!! I hope at the time, that you are reading this post finds you, well blessed, by the grace of Jesus Christ. Jesus is our only Salvation to be found anywhere, and my prayer for you is trust Him, with the care of your soul and life. Within my spirit dwells even a greater Spirit, which is leading me to deeper knowledge. He is tying up the loose ends, to make greater sense of things that I have never understood at all.

This week I have, actually for the past couple weeks, I have been dipping, and dabbling into the things, in which I did not understand. Things that I had heard of most of my life, for these are much older than I to begin with. Words that our time and culture have become desensitized to hearing. Detrimental words that are counted as harmless today, to the general population. These words can easily fit nicely snug in the same category, because they are all related by a single thread.

The words are words like Satanic or Satanism, cults or illuminati. Things like New World Order, Babylon, false prophets, and The Anti-Christ. Underneath every one of these words, we can find different sub-categories. Every sub- category has underneath them, a slightly twisted different, form of deception.  The culprit of all this madness is none other than Satan.

Satan is known by a variety of names. The most popular being; Lucifer, The Devil, Beelzebub, An Angel of Light, Diablo, etc. I don’t know much about this creature, but I know a few things. He was made by God as an angel. That tells me that he has awesome power.  Jude 1:9  Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee. There had to be a reason that Michael did this, because there is no slack in himself!!

This is what Jesus had to say about Satan. John 10:10  The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly The best way that I can start to explain how this is possible might sound absurd to some. Satan doesn’t have but one weapon in his bag of tricks, and he has perfected that one. He is a master at the art of deception!! Genesis 3:1  Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

You can even say that he is the grand illusionist, and it would fit the bill. How else could you explain the effort of the illuminati? The illuminati have been around, for a few thousand years deceiving people. They teach the Bible upside down, where Satan is the good guy, and Jesus is the deceiver. They are very powerful, and they are into everything known to man, with the exception of Jesus!!

They even have folks placed inside the churches to deceive all that they can. They control the entertainment industry. Ever wonder why, the most talented people, don’t always win shows, like American Idol?  Why are there folks acting in movies, that can’t act well to begin with? Do you ever heard, a song on the radio, and wonder how they were allowed to sing?

If you want to get into the entertainment business, the first thing you need to do is this. You fall under the delusion, that the devil can purchase your soul!! You swear an oath to him, in exchange for popularity, power, and wealth, or all three, with more added at your request. Satan really doesn’t care what you want for your soul. He simply wants for you to pledge allegiance to him!!

I have had my tour of duty in serving Satan, but it was out of ignorance; coupled with the fact that I was young. I don’t think that I have ever really considered, trying to deal with him, on my soul. Maybe the only reason that I did not is, because I knew that it already belonged to Jesus. I took care of that at the age of seven.

The sad thing is that I have watched videos these last two weeks. In some of these videos, I actually witnessed people, which seemed to have reasonable levels of intelligence, tell how that they had sold their soul to Satan. They sold out for popularity, and fame on this earth, that will not stand the test of time.

I have witnessed more corruption, on this planet in the last two weeks, than I ever have. Most of it being, right here, in the United States of America!! Satan is taking over everything in sight. Our Government is nothing more than a bunch of liars. There isn’t any wonder, that the most of the world hates us now. We have proven ourselves not to be trustworthy. Our word is worthless, and we can’t even manage our own house now. Although, we would like to tell you how to manage yours!!

My head is simply reeling, with all the information that I have taken in, over the past two weeks. The signs are lining up at a hyper speed, screaming that Jesus is coming soon!! The greater Spirit, on the inside of me, confirms that this is true. I don’t know the day, or the hour, that it will take place. Nobody really does except Father.

Have you ever wondered why Father knows something, which He hasn’t told Jesus about? It seems like; it will almost bring a discredit to the Gospel. Although, it does not damage at all. Actually, the reason is really cool in my book. Father could not tell Jesus, when the end would come, simply because He would tell it to us!! Check this verse of proof out!! John 15:15  Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

Jesus told us everything that He knew about Father, because His mission, for even coming to the earth, was a seek, and save mission. He held nothing back from our knowledge, and Father knew this was how Jesus would operate.

Are you ready for His return trip, or even the rapture of the church?

The Perfected Love…

Almost, if not every time, that somebody has fallen in love with you, they proceeded to tell you how much, that you mean to them. They use great swelling words, which can make your face turn red, and at the same time, fill your heart with warmth. The truth is that it had such an impact on your life, that just thinking about it, still has the same effect on your being today. That is real power, taking into consideration, of how long, that it has been, since the time that your memory is recalling.

I guess that is the way that the human emotional status is designed to work. I have no problems, nor complaints about the design, of our emotional system. However, I do have a question for my readers? Did the same effect take place on your emotions, when you first heard that God loves you?  Think about it for a minute, and be totally honest with yourselves. Nobody is judging you, or pointing any fingers at you. No matter what your true answer is going to be.

I need to ask you not to judge me too harshly, when I tell you, what my answer is, to this question. I have heard that God loves me all of my life, and it really has had little effect. I have read in the books of John, where God is love, with the same effect. The truth is often times when I am reading the Word of God, I am doing nothing more, than going through the motions, of a spiritual rite of passage. Nobody is getting any good from these actions. Not Father, not Jesus, not Holy Spirit, and not me!!

It is really important for me to not get too far of track, but I had to say that, and now forward!! The key to me, and I am not talking about you, unless you are the same way. However, for me to get any feeling, from the fact that God loves me, He has to speak to me personally. Please don’t get this confused, because the question that I ask was, “Was when you first heard that God loves you.”

Romans 10:17  So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. I posted this verse because I don’t want to belittle the importance of hearing, what God has to say about issues. However, nothing has touched me as personal, as when Father speaks to me directly, through His Word, and tells me that He loves me.

It is always fresh, new, and filled with power. I am having a hard time describing this effect, which it has on me. It is much more than emotional. I would dare say that it goes much deeper, than the emotional realm of my human understanding. It goes right to the Spirit of the center of my being.

The truth is when Jesus says that He loves me in the Word. When I receive it personally, because it is meant for me at that given time. The Word of His love is so fresh, and new, it is like the first time of hearing it all over again. I get this over-whelming, warm feeling of complete joy way down, in my Spiritual being!! Can anybody relate to what I am saying?

The way that the written Word speaks of the love that God has for us is as unique as God is Himself. He showed His love for us with Jesus bloody body hanging on the cross. The word is what I want to show you today. The Bible is nothing more than the most powerful love letter written to the children of the Father. It is all about His love for us!!

I want to show you how much that God loves us, and what His plan is for us. However, He does place a stipulation, on His blessing. He expects us to love Him back, in the same deepness of love. He expects us to obey His Word, and that takes an act of love to do. If you don’t know, the God that I am talking about, and the best way to tell right now is if you’re offended, by what I am saying. Stay with me, because I am going to prove to you what I am saying is not a lie.

I am going to show you six verses, of what I am talking about. Five of these verses are located in the Old Testament, and one from the New Testament.

 Exodus 9:5  Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:

Exodus 19:6  And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

Deuteronomy  14:2  For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.

Deuteronomy 26:18  And the LORD hath avouched thee this day to be his peculiar people, as he hath promised thee, and that thou shouldest keep all his commandments;

Deuteronomy 26:19 And to make thee high above all nations which he hath made, in praise, and in name, and in honour; and that thou mayest be an holy people unto the LORD thy God, as he hath spoken.

1Peter 2:9  But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

The word peculiar is showing how special that we are to God. However, we forfeit that love, if we first don’t obey His voice!! The fact is that we can’t even hear His voice to obey it, if we don’t know Jesus.

Really Hard Times....

In the second book of Timothy, and the third chapter we get a good look at the end times, concerning mankind. This era is called the last days, and it speaks of perilous times, or dangerous, difficult times. In other words, really hard times will come upon us, simply by the way that we act toward God, and each other.

I don’t know if you have noticed here lately, but it seems like a lot of folks are, falling in love with themselves. They love to talk about themselves, telling the stories of how they plan to conquer the world, by filling their accounts with great wealth. No amount will ever be sufficient, for their personal treasury. They seem to have a level of pride, that is built up higher than the tower of Babel, and they seriously blaspheme against God, and everything, in which He stand for.

This is not limited to the adults in this generation only. The children are talking control of the parents, in these modern times. They just do pretty much what they choose to do, while taking the parents hostage, with the strict disciplinary laws, of this country. They are being raised, with a spirit of ungratefulness, followed closely by a right to have certain things. They tend to be rude, brash, and unaffected, by the presence of any adult, in a normal setting of society. Now, I am not talking about any of the children, of my readers. I know that you have done the best, which you could do in raising your children. Just like my mother did for me!!

Verse three says that they will be without natural affection. That is used to describe how they will be hard hearted toward their fellow mankind. They will make deals, while knowing that they never plan to hold up, their end of the agreement. They will murder others with their tongue, through character assignation, using damaging words of great slander, and making false accusations. They will have no restraint, no self-control, while devouring each other like savages. There will despise anything, which has the appearance of good, if it even gets close to being in their way.

Verse for says that, “they will be loves of pleasures, more that lovers of God.” I personally that that this verse is written, on the light side, of what I am seeing. I believe that Matthew 6:24 says that we cannot serve God and mammon, or the things of this world; aka wealth. A lot of people are so consumed, with taking everything that they can get for five to six days, that when Sunday gets here, it is a day for them. They had rather go shoot a couple games of golf, or watch the football, basketball, or any sports game. Most of the time they just want to get away from their families, because they really don’t care that much about them. Matthew 7:20  Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.)

I think that verse pretty much says it all. If we do anything rather that worship God, and not just in church. God is with us always, and we should acknowledge His presence, in our lives daily, and several times during the day. 1Chronicles 16:11  Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually. I believe that if you really love God, with all of your heart, in the way that He wants to be loved. You will go throughout the day, communicating with Him. It took me a while to reach this level, and I am sure that there are higher levels to achieve. Having learned the things that I now understand about Father, the possibilities are endless!! Ain’t God good!!

The next part is about something that we see a lot of today. Having a form of Godliness, but denying the power there of(3:5), and ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. (3:7)

This is very common with the ones that are in the spotlight, claiming to have the power of God upon them. I don’t mind calling a few names here, because so many people are being deceived by wolves in sheep’s clothing. Matthew 7:15  Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. I need to point something out to you. If any person is standing behind a pulpit, and others are seriously, saying that they are wrong, in what they are doing, check it out in your Bible. There is a good chance that they are doing what they are being accused of doing.

The best example is Joel Osteen. He is twisting the Word of God, to say what will make him, the most popular among the people. He is filling the church up by telling them what that they want to hear. He is teaching a false gospel.

2Timothy 4:3  For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 2Timothy 4:4  And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

This is the time, and the era of false prophets. All you need to do is turn on your television set, and there is a good chance that you will see one. God is exposing these workers of great sins. Paula White with Benny Hinn. Kenneth Copeland trying to hide his income. Creflo Dollar attacking His daughter, and countless more examples.

I believe that I know why folks are acting, so silly with following every word, that come from these liars. 2Thessaloanians 2:11  And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: It would almost seem that it would be an act of God, when it is so apparent to others what is going on. I have really given my readers, a lot of information today, and a lot to think about. The bottom line is that Jesus is coming back soon. I don’t know how soon, except it is a lot closer than it was yesterday!!

Those that already believe need to check out, your love walk and your relationship with Jesus. Those that never have accepted Jesus Christ, as your personal savior should do so now, before it is too late, and you are over-taken by a delusion.

Study-Labor-Work-Strive

The city bus can usually produce, some revelation in which, to write about.  Often times I can forget what came to light, because of the extremeness, of a normal day. I see a lot of different madness going on, as I am sure that most of you do. I am the kind of person that studies people, and the way that they act in different situations. Most of the time, I sit quietly, and go unnoticed. The only time that I draw any attention is when I laugh. Then they think that they did something that ticked me. I guess that they are correct, in their assumption, but not normally, for the reason that they are thinking.

You see these people that act like they are the only ones in an area. They can be found almost everywhere. In the Doctor’s office, Dentist office, grocery store, department store, and the city bus. They always make a grand entrance, with an undetermined amount of friends. It really only takes one friend. They don’t seem to recognize that anybody else is in the same area. They have to pick apart anything, that catches their eye sight, and nothing is sacred.

They usually talk at a volume, where all around knows their business, where anybody want to know, or not. Actually, I find most of it pure foolishness, and more often than not, that is why I laugh. When I do they will usually turn in my direction, smile, and laugh with me. I am sorry to say this, but it is the truth!! Most of the time that just makes me laugh all the harder, because they don’t have any idea, why I am laughing to begin with!!  

I must admit, that I am preaching to the choir right now, because there was a time that I thought that I was that important. I can see me all over, the way that most folks act, when they act badly. I will simply assume that getting older, takes care of a lot of these issues. However, I am sure that Jesus has the real solutions. The solutions that really change a life, and the way that we view things, can be found in the Bible.

The Apostle Paul wrote two scriptures, in which he started out, talking about study. Study is translated in the Strong’s as being eager or earnest to do something, to labor, or to strive. With all this going on Paul must have realized that this was going to take some effort to achieve. With a definition like labor, and strive; it must going to take a lot of work, to pull this one off!!

Let’s look at what these two scriptures tell us that we should be working to do. 1Thessalonians 4:11  And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you; Do you wonder why this verse is in the Bible? Do you think that it is probably here by accident, or are you offended by this verse? Maybe we should simply leave this behind for now. Let’s see the other verse that Paul says that we need to study, to achieve a goal.

2Timothy 2:15  Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Paul!! You child of the most high God!! Can these two verses be related or attached to each other? You have gone and done it now, and I thank you!!

No wonder Paul uses the word study in these two verses. These are two of the hardest things to do. Especially, for a busy body like I used to be. I thought that my business was spreading, the latest gossip, about your business!!

This next verse really had me wringing my hands together with confusion. How many of you know that God is not the author of confusion?  1Corinthians 14:33  For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

I was thinking, and I have been taught that the blood that Jesus shed of the cross, automatically made me approved to God. I knew that I had to repent, or turn away from my sins. In doing this I thought that it made me alright with Father. The way that I read this it sounds like works are required, and the truth is that they are required!!

It doesn’t take even one work to receive Salvation. However once we receive the glorious gift of Salvation we should be more than willing to help, with the effort of changing. John 15:14  Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Is there any confusion about what Jesus is saying?  I know beyond any shadow of a doubt that Jesus will be the coolest person that you will ever meet. I also know that when He says something it is a good as written in stone!! We must do what He commands us to do, and our guide is the written Word, and the leading of Holy Spirit. That is if you want to be a friend of Jesus.

Father has done a lot for us, and our job is to show His goodness. The good thing is that He never calls us to do anything, which He will not equip us to do. We do these things because we love Him, and we want to be pleasing to Father. Study to show thyself approved unto God. It will take some works to pull this one off, but that is ok. James 2:20  But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
