The Inner Circle.....

I believe that Jesus taught us how to behave, inside the inner circle of life, that we all live in. We all have an inner circle, which we motivate in each and every day, of our lives. Some of us move from, one circle to next, as our day lingers on. Actually, most of us rarely stay, within the same circle, for long at a time. However, each of us has one, or several, to contend with.
If we ever want to know how that we should be acting, in any situation, I believe that we should look to Jesus. In the book of Hebrews it tells us that. Hebrews 12:2  Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Jesus life is the best example that we will ever have, in which to live by.
How did Jesus act, and what did He do? Who was included inside, of the inner circle of Jesus? I plan to answer all these questions, in the brief time allowed in this post. The life of Jesus holds a lot of mystery to it, but I believe that the most valuable parts have been revealed to us.
The birth of Jesus was a Grand time of celebration in the Heavenly realm. There were signs in the skies, which told of His birth. A host of angels appeared before the shepherds that were tending their flock at night. I am not sure the number that a host consisted of being. It was probably more than a handful. At least to the shepherds that were out there that night, it might have seemed that all of Heaven showed up!!
Luke 2:13  And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, 14  Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
After the birth of Jesus nothing was recorded for twelve years. Then one day Jesus was left behind in Jerusalem, and when Mary and Joseph located Jesus, He was sitting in the temple talking with the Doctors. This is the only thing that Jesus said.  Luke 2:49  And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business? Another eighteen years would pass on by, before Jesus started His Ministry on the earth.

This was an explosive time where Jesus was all over doing good for mankind. He healed those that would let Him. He caused the blind to see, and the deaf to hear. He lifted up the lame to walk again. He cured diseases, for in which there was no cure, and rose up the dead, to live another day!! Jesus was simply about the business of Father!!

The main thing that Jesus done, was taught the hard lessons of life. The first time that was recorded that He spoke in the temple. Jesus broke out the scroll of Isaiah, and read a prophesy about Himself.

Isaiah 61:1  The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; 2  To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
3  To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

That is a fairly bold statement to make. However, Jesus did all of these things and more!! Jesus was the solution for the sin that separates us from Father. Father required a blood sacrifice, for the sin in our lives, and Jesus accepted the call of being our Savior. He willingly let the Romans nail Him to a cross, where He willingly gave His life, and shed His sinless blood, for the ransom of the sins of the world!! Ain’t that cool? He gave us back the broken relationship with the Father.

Before Jesus a sacrifice was made once a year, by the shedding of the blood of an animal. A priest had to go before Father, because we were not allowed in His presence. That changed. That has really changed big time!! Because of Jesus we are welcome, to come in the presence of Father. Not only are we welcome we have an open invitation, to use at any given time. Hebrews 4:16  Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

I could write on Jesus all day. However, this post would explode from all the information contained in it!! I need to address who was in the inner circle of Jesus, and that is simple. All of the ones that would come to Jesus is in His inner circle. Most of us think that the twelve disciples were all that were involved. They were they main ones, that stayed the longest time with Jesus. Jesus mostly had an open door policy, where all were welcome, to learn from Him. He was willing to teach every person that would follow His example.

The problem was the same problem that folks face today. They really don’t believe in Jesus well enough, to give Him, of their time. In the book of Luke a story is told in the tenth chapter, of what I call, “The Martha Syndrome.” Martha was way too busy, while her sister sat at the feet of Jesus. Most of us think that if we can just make a church service of Sunday that is good enough. Would it be good enough, if that was the only time that you ate food? How do you think if that was the only time that you breathed?

Jesus is not real enough for some of us in our lives. That is the bottom line. Let’s just simply get down, and cut to the chase. Is your relationship lacking? Do you have a relationship with the Savior? Do you want to have a relationship with the Creator of all? Jesus is only being held up by you!!

           …….Much Love
