A Deal of A Lifetime

Don’t you think that as human beings we are strange?         I wonder how many of us, would resist an offer, of great wealth, in the offer came with conditions. It might force us to act in a certain way, like the way that we live, or the way that we speak. What if it would have us to live in a way, which is totally contrary, to the way that we think?  I believe that most of us would do, the very best that we could do, to fulfill the conditions, to achieve the vast wealth that waits.

The honest truth is that God has already made that kind of an offer to us. However, because we can see Him, and hear an audible voice from Him, we look at His existence as not real. It has been like this since the children of Israel got tired of waiting on Moses, at the foot of Mount Sinai. There was a difference though, because they had seen the mighty acts of God, in their lives.

Exodus 32:1  And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.

I am not really sure what Aaron’s deal was, because he was the priest, which had been appointed by God. Needless to say Aaron just jumped on the band wagon with them, and asks for the gold to make them gods, with quickness. Look in the next verse. It was like he was relieved at the request, and didn’t resist at all.

Exodus 32:2  And Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden earrings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto me.

Look at this verse from an earlier chapter. It is Father talking about these same children Exodus 19:5-6  Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: 6  And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

This is our Father talking to His children back then. He is still saying the same thing to His children today. All we have to do is obey His Word to us. It is the same book, which I keep showing you verses from. That is the way that we can hear the voice of our God. Father speaks loud and clear through the pages of our Holy Bible. The words that He spoke to Adam in the garden, through the apostle John on the Isle of Patmos is the same Word, that He is speaking to us today.

Look at the promises that Father is making to us. First thing is that He calls us a peculiar treasure. Peculiar is defined by Webster as; 1. Appropriate; belonging to a person and to him only. Father doesn’t just stop at the word peculiar; He also calls us His treasure. How many of you know what Father considers, to be His greatest riches?  It is not the same as we look at riches. We look at gold as a great source of wealth. Father looks at gold as paving material for the streets of Heaven!!

Father sees His great amount of wealth in the children whom He loves greatly. Just look at what He goes on to say. We shall be unto Him a kingdom of priest, and a Holy nation. Peter went on to confirm this again in First Peter.
1Peter 2:9  But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

Can’t you see how much Father loves us, and desires to have a relationship with us? The Bible is filled with promises to us. Promises of things, which we can never supply, without Jesus in our lives. Promises that will take us throughout eternity. There isn’t but one way to lock in on this deal, as this is the only way….

John 3:16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Ain’t God good?

             ….Much  Love
