We live in a world
today. Ok, I have to start over,
because my world is fairly limited, to the United States. My knowledge is very
limited, to the rest, of the world. In
these United States that, I live in these is little talk about Jesus. However,
there is an abundant talk about religion.
It seems that the masses, of this country are anti-God. You can mention
the name of God, and you will often receive some form of backlash. You can
mention the name of Jesus, and literally, all hell will break loose!! The
general population doesn’t even know that, Jesus is God, and neither do they
care.
Aren’t you glad that, our
Savior walked this earth, in the form of a man? He could have chosen to just
had the authors of the Bible to write about His goodness and mercy, and stayed
in Heaven. The only problem was the Father had already set the standards for
our sin, and it required blood. Jesus loved the Father so much, and He also
loved us, that He willingly came to the earth, as our sin sacrifice.
John 18:37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a
king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am
a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that
I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my
voice.
When we take the time to
stop, and think about the one Who created us, and built this massive playground,
that we call the earth, does deserve our praises. That alone, makes him worthy, of our praise.
However, He didn’t stop there. He fulfilled the only way, the only requirement,
to unite the people, of this world, with our Father. He shed His sinless blood,
as our sacrifice, for the sin that we commit, in our lifetime. Only one
sacrifice, of the blood of Jesus, was enough for all the inhabitants of the
earth, past, present, and future. Wow!!
1John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in
the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ
his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
The blood of Jesus Christ is
the most powerful element, found on the earth. It is far more powerful, than
the Atoms that we split, to create nuclear fusion. I don’t know why people
don’t want anybody, to talk about the blood of Jesus. Without the shed blood of Jesus, there would
be no possibility, of ever having our relationship with the Father restored.
John 6:53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of
the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
When Jesus said this, nearly
two-thousand years ago the people listening were greatly offended. I don’t know
exactly what they were thinking, about what Jesus was really saying. I know
now, that He was talking about His flesh, being the Word of God. To drink His
blood was nothing more than symbolism, to embrace our only way to come, in the
presence, of the Father. Without Jesus, and our Father God, we surely don’t
have any life in us.
We were born with a
condition, which is known, as Spiritual stillbirth. Every human being, that has
ever been born, of a woman has been born, under this condition. We don’t even
realize our condition, without the help, of Holy Spirit. We think that we are
alright, living a life of sin. There might be things that, we think are wrong
for us to be doing, but usually only if we get caught doing them.
Once Holy Spirit moves on us
showing us our sinful state that, we are in, and points us to Jesus, who is our
only solution. I realize that I keep saying this, but in the world that, we
live in today, they teach that, there are many ways to the Father. However, the Word of God only teaches that
there is one, and once we accept the only way, something marvelous happens, in
our life.
Romans 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
I don’t know how many of you
realize this, but the act of adoption is stronger, than true blood ties. Once
you adopt a person, into your life, there is no changing your mind. It is a
done deal!! There is no legal act of
annulment, and no way to change the situation. You are as much family, as the
blood brothers and sisters are in the family. I think that that is great to
know, when by the blood of Jesus, you are adopted into the family of the living
God!! Once you accept, the sacrifice of the blood offering of Jesus, for you
sin, we are eternally, in the family of God. Do you know that this deal is
sealed by Holy Spirit?
Ephesians 1:13-14 In
whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel
of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with
that holy Spirit of promise, 14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the
redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
Do you realize how
sure that our Salvation is? Once that
we truly believe in Jesus Christ, and the work of the cross, it is a done deal,
which will never be taken away from us. There
is a problem though. It is not with our Lord, or with anything to do with the
true Spiritual aspect of God. It has everything to do, with the fact that, many
of us have been deceived, by our belief.
Satan has deceived us, in believing that we are the children of God,
when we are actually not.
Our hope is in something
far less, than the saving, and redeeming blood of Jesus Christ, for some of us. Many of us sit
in the pews, every time the doors open in our churches, but that will not save
us. We claim to be Saved, but have no relationship with our Savior. Are you one of these? Ain’t Jesus Awesome?
