Preached to Death!!

Don't you love Sunday's?     Well, another exciting day at the temple!!      Holy Spirit was on the move again this Sunday, and Pastor Gary didn't get to preach again.     Something, that I really did find very interesting, was a conversation that took place between, Bro. Gary, and Pastor John Kilpatrick.    For those that aren't familiar with Pastor John.    He is an anointed by God Pastor, in the Assembly of God denomination. He is a powerful preacher, and has been set over, several long term revivals. (Brownsville, Mobile)

He brought the Word, in our church, a couple weeks ago, for three services. There is a special section dedicated, to that time, on the church website, if you would care to hear, what he said to us. Just go to the media section, to find all three services.

Bro. Gary was talking to Pastor John on the telephone this week. Gary was telling him about this past Sunday service. He made the statement, that if anything was frustrating , about the way that service went, was the fact that he did not get a chance to preach. He went on to explain the he spends hours in prayer, seeking God's face, for Father's inspiration, on the Word that he should preach. He said that he does a weekly fast time seeking, for the preparation, on the movement.

Now, if you knew Bro. Garry, you would know that he is not complaining. He does not have a complaining spirit inside of him. This is a man that takes the church that he has been placed over very seriously. He is the kind of man that doesn't grieve Holy Spirit. He welcomes His presence!! I am very grateful to have Brother Gary as my Shepard!!

The part that I found most interesting was the answer that John answered Gary with. He told him that the United States has been preached out for a long time. He said that the Truth has been preached on every corner in America. John said that the Word of God is powerful. What this country needs now, is a manifestation, of the Spirit. The need to be able to worship in Spirit, and in truth.

Jesus said, in the Forth chapter, of the book of John, verse twenty-three: But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

According to the words of Jesus; Father is looking for His children, to worship Him in this way. In Spirit, and in Truth!! I honestly wish, that the whole world, could attend a service, at my church. I know that we live stream, crossed the Internet, but I know that is not the same.     There is nothing like having, a ringside seat, when Holy Spirit is on the move!!        Nothing!!

What Pastor John said, makes a lot of sense, and I have never had that revelation. I am starting to see, why the people, that don't live, in this country, might be interested, in this blog. I have taken the time, to see what are, the most prevalent religions, that are in the counties, that read this blog. That can't possible be a fair assumption at all, because what I am saying, and what I am teaching, is not a religious movement.       It is a Spiritual truth!!

Jesus Christ condemned religious practices, and religious behaviors. He said that He was the way, and the only way. He said that He was the Truth, and the only Truth. He also said that He was the life, and the only way back to Father.(John14:6) If Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and I believe that will every fiber, of my being!! Don't you think that we once again, slap Him in the face, making a religion, out of the Truth?

Actually, in my honest opinion, when we make a religion, from the greatest gift, that we have ever received, that once again, we are worshiping the creation, more than the Creator. Do you ever feel like man is always going around in circles? And yet, another wilderness experience.

Do you realize what different denominations really are?      They are fragments, left over from the broken pieces, from every time that a split, has taken place, in the church. That is something to ponder over a while.......

......Much Love
